Each February, the Eating Disorders Information Network (EDIN) supports LOVE YOUR BODY MONTH. LYBM is focused on promoting greater understanding about body image issues and eating disorders and encourages positive activities that empower everyone to like and respect their body! February 16
Registered Dietician Networking Meeting – The RD networking meetings are starting up again for this year. For our first 2011 meeting, the theme will be the national health theme of Eating Disorders Awareness Month and will be sponsored by EDIN, the Eating Disorders Information Network. A light lunch will be provided and we will have a short presentation about upcoming Love Your Body Week activities and share some resources for you to use with your clients. Page Love, MS, RD, CSSD, LD will be leading our discussions.

Yoga For A Healthy Body Image - Love yourself, move your body, live free. Through movement, breath work and body awareness meditations, learn when to push and when to surrender. Find Your Sweet Spot with this *Free* Love Your Body Month Workshop at the Atlanta Ballet – Cobb Centre. No yoga experience necessary. Bring a mat, water bottle and journal. Cost is free but donations are welcome and will benefit EDIN’s educational programs.

Every Saturday in February – A support group for women and men struggling with anorexia, bulimia and compulsive overeating as well as families and friends wishing to be involved in the recovery process. This group is co-facilitated by a registered dietician and a counselor who specialize in the treatment of disordered eating. Cost is free.
